The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of brand image and advertisement on consumer buying behavior in the general public at Gujranwala city. Questionnaire survey was used to collect the data by using non probability convenient sampling technique. A sample of 200 questionnaires was used in which 175 responses were collected within the period of one month. Findings show that brand image and advertisement have strong positive influence and significant relationship with Consumer buying behavior. People perceive the brand image with positive attitude. Study depicted that teenagers in Gujranwala are more conscious about their social status so they prefer branded products and advertisement affects their Consumer Buying Behavior positively. The Role of Genetics in Alzheimer's Disease The call came at 9:05 p.m. on January 20, 2004. Mom had just finished telling the news about the girl's grandfather. He had Alzheimer's Disease and was not doing well at all. The ruling was that he probably would not make it through the night. She knew exactly what the news was the moment her mom said, "No." After the news came, the decision was made they would leave the next day to attend the funeral. This girl began wondering, "If grandpa had Alzheimer's do I have a chance of getting it too? What can I do to avoid getting it? He suffered so much, I don't want to go through that." What if a person's genetics have something to do with whether or not they will get Alzheimer's? What are possible ways to prevent the onset of Alzheimer's disease? Genetics might have something to do with whether or not one will get Alzheimer's but their chances of avoiding the disease are better if they take care of themselves. Let us start with some general history and facts and then proceed to the specifics. Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is named after a German doctor, Alois Alzheimer. He discovered the disease in 1906, while doing an autopsy on a woman who had died from an unusual mental illness. Dr. Alzheimer noted unique changes in the brain tissue (U.S 1995). His findings included clumps, which are also known as plaques, and tangled fibers, also called neurofibrillary tangles. These findings have become "hallmarks of AD" (U.S. 1995). AD is now considered the most common form of dementia (Travis). Researchers from New York State did autopsies on 87 people who were seen at a dementia clinic to find out if any of them showed signs of a cerebrovascular disease. Parent governors Essay
Parent governors are elected by parents / guardians of pupils that attend the school. If there is a vacancy parents are asked to nominate fellow parents, if more people are nominated than there is vacancies an election takes place. Staff governors Staff governors are in most schools and are appointed by support staff that work at the school. If they leave the school they cannot continue being staff governors. Teacher governors Teacher governors are elected by other teachers at the school. They must be permanent members of staff, again if they leave the school they cannot continue being a teacher governor. Community governors Community governors are people who live or work locally to the school and are chosen by the governing body. They are people who are committed to helping towards the success of the school. Foundation governors Foundation governors are chosen by foundation, voluntary aided or voluntary controlled schools. They represent the church or voluntary trust that set up the school. They have a responsibility to make sure the school is following the beliefs of the trust or charity. Sponsor governors Sponsor governors are people that have given financial assistance or services to the school. Head teacher The head teacher is a governor because of the post they hold. They do not have to accept the post but if that is the case the position stays open for them.

Poseidon Was A God Of Pure Impulse - 1457 Words
Introduction Poseidon was known to be a temperamental, greedy and unpredictable god. He would have the power to build new islands and exotic undersea lands, yet he would also have the power to demolish an entire kingdom all based on his mood. Being known for his inconsistent behaviours and impulsive acts of violence, Poseidon was worshipped heavily among the civilization of Ancient Greek; for the fear of accidentally upsetting the god and causing any disputable disagreements was anxiously high in the civilizations minds. With this mindset, many can argue that Poseidon was a god of pure impulse; which with his many conflicts can easily be proven true. For this sole fact, the product Iââ¬â¢ve associated with this god is a stress relieving waterâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦(Allan, 50). Either way, the childhood of Poseidon and his five siblings, (Hestia, Demeter, Hera, hades, and Zeus) was one of true misfortune; one which lead to the conspiracy against their father. Once in power, Posei don wasted no time to showcase his calamitous powers and greed for sovereignty. From creating generous undersea lands and blessing civilians in times of drought to feeling angered just as quickly over trivial matters and destroying extravagant empires, Poseidon shifted from these two moods at lightning speeds. Despite all these negative characteristics, Poseidon Famous Tales Being the god of all water and natural and supernatural occurrences, keeping Poseidon happy was a main priority of especially sailors; and with the temperamental, greedy and unpredictable attributes Poseidon possessed, this was not often easy. With trivial matters taken personally, Poseidon was known for have being the main cause for ground breaking earthquakes, shipwrecks and city drowningââ¬â¢s; and it is because of this very reason, he has been involved in countless conflicts with others. One of his most popular tales includes competing against Athena for the patronage of the city of Athens. According to this myth, the first king of Athens had been looking for a guardian of the city when both Poseidon, god of seas, and Athena, god of wisdom, interestedly volunteered.
